Marios qualified his BSc in Physiotherapy from Western Greece University of Applied Sciences in 2012. After completing his military service at the military health centre of Patras as a Physiotherapist, he has worked in Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal settings within the private sector in Greece. He is part of our clinic’s therapist team since April 2018, as an Associate Physiotherapist, responsible for exercise prescription during rehabilitation and management of chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Marios enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries but has a special interest in therapeutic exercise prescription, chronic pain management, and overuse injuries. He analyses the biomechanics of movements and incorporates manual therapy, sports specific rehab and patient’s perspective where needed to ensure long-term improvements.
Marios has also gained accreditation in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy after completing two different postgraduate educational programmes in OMT for more than 7 years. His need for continuous professional development and research monitoring has led him to travel around the world in order to attend congresses, seminars or workshops from lead professors & instructors on musculoskeletal and neuroscience topics.
Marios is in a relationship with Sevi and they have two sons together. His favourite habit is to trigger toddlers imagination through theatrical acts. In his spare time, Marios is a keen surfer and boxing athlete as well as a passionate explorer of local cuisine foods of the world.
