A pedograph is a specialized platform with pressure sensors connected to dedicated software that records the anatomical structure of the foot and the distribution of forces during standing and walking. It provides a detailed view of gait patterns and load distribution across the lower limbs.

The examination includes two parts:

• Static analysis: conducted while standing, recording pressure distribution and mechanical alignment.
• Dynamic gait analysis: captures all phases of walking, pressure shifts, and contact times.The procedure is non-invasive, painless, and performed by a qualified musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

This assessment is recommended for:

• Individuals with pain in the feet, knees, hips, or lower back
• Children with developmental or gait-related concerns
• Athletes for performance optimization and injury prevention
• People with diabetes to prevent foot complications
• Anyone who may benefit from customized insoles or footwear

It helps identify misalignments or abnormal load distribution that may strain joints and muscles. The data is used to design custom-made orthotic insoles, guide footwear selection, and develop personalized exercise plans when necessary.

The session takes about 15–20 minutes. No special preparation is needed—just bring the shoes you wear most often so we can evaluate how they interact with your gait.
