Mr Sifakis is a co-founder and a principal physiotherapist of Chania Physiotherapy Clinic. Mr Sifakis specializes in spinal and extremity manipulation, Western acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, Gunn intramuscular stimulation, and differential diagnosis for a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.

Mr Sifakis is an orthopedic manual therapist (OMT), Member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (UK), Member of the Manual Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (GR), Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (UK), and member of the Institute of study and treatment of pain (Canada).

Mr Sifakis has a special interest in the use of high-velocity low-amplitude thrust spinal manipulation and dry needling for the treatment of chronic neuromusculoskeletal and neuromyofascial pain syndromes. 

Mr Sifakis graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Charles University of Prague (CZ), completed a double module of Master of Science on Cardiac Rehabilitation at Keele University (UK). Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from Hellenic-OMT-Diploma institute approved by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT).

Mr Sifakis has completed advanced training in acupuncture through the British Medical Acupuncture Society (UK), and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (UK).

He has taught by Prof. Chan Gunn the founder and developed a process called Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) to treat neuropathic pain. 

Mr Sifakis completed successfully the Annual Programme of Continuing Education in Algology (CEA) 2016. The program of Continuing Education in Algology was under the auspices and endorsement of the EFIC (European Federation of IASP Chapters) and has been accredited by the Panhellenic Medical Association.

In 2016 Mr Sifakis passed the final examination followed an 11 weeks postgraduate programme in manipulative physiotherapy to become an IMTA accredited physiotherapist and since 2018 has started a new specialization in sports physiotherapy through HOMTD institute approved by the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM).

Last but not least,  in 2019 Mr Sifakis successfully completed the “FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine”, accredited & provided by Federation Internationale de Football Assossiation (FIFA).
